TELSA DOUBLES ITS PRODUCTION CAPACITY IN THREE MONTHS.

Tesla releases 2,000 in a single week cars for the first time


  


 

 

Electric car maker Tesla Motors, Last week its Gigafactory Berlin was able to increase its production capacity to 2.000 cars in a single wee for the first time.

This is a great progress to the automaker and Tesla has announced the achievement as a great milestone for Gigafactory Berlin.  Recently Telsa has been intensifying its productions simultaneously at its two major new factories: Gigafactory Berlin and Gigafactory Texas.

Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning in 2003 founded Tesla Motors an electric carmaker. Elon Musk, co-founder of PayPal, before taking over as CEO, led the initial rounds of investing for Tesla.


TELSA, Tesla is a known automaker and has been on the forefront in the past decade. In 2008, Tesla released its first electric car, the Roadster. In June 2022, the automaker previously disclosed a production capacity of 1.000Model Y vehicles per week at Giga factory Berlin, and then in September 2022 it announced a 2000 production capacity. In a nutshell, this means that Tesla managed to double its production rate in three months. It seems that it is gearing up to fulfill its 2022 goal. Telsa existing goal of 2022: a production rate of 5,000 vehicles per week.

The release of 2,000 Model Y vehicles per week out of Gigafactory Berlin will definitely have a great effect on Tesla’s operations globally. Tesla doesn’t have to export 2,000 vehicles from China or the US every week to satisfy European demand. Besides its increasing production capacity, it’s going to greatly improve Tesla’s logistics and transit times. Those Model Y vehicles will be  sold in Europe.
